Email supportYes. The included J1772 connector works with all Tesla models via the Tesla-supplied J1772 adapter (included with every Tesla since 2013). For Cybertruck and 2025+ Model 3/Y Juniper with native NACS, use the NACS-to-J1772 adapter (sold separately, $19).
On a 50A breaker / NEMA 14-50 outlet, expect ~30 miles of range per hour at 9.6 kW. Empty to 80% (~62 kWh) takes roughly 7 hours overnight. Slower on 30A or 20A circuits — the unit auto-detects the breaker.
For a plug-in unit on an existing 240V outlet (dryer, range, RV hookup), no. Just plug in. For a brand-new dedicated 14-50 circuit, hire a licensed electrician — NEC Article 625 requires GFCI protection and proper conductor sizing.
